Scott - owner of Soap A GoGo

At Soap A GoGo, our journey began in 2012 when our founder, Scott Elgart, mixed his first batch of handcrafted soap in his kitchen. What started as a simple curiosity soon grew into an all-consuming passion. From a humble hobby, Soap A GoGo emerged as a thriving business, fueled by a deep commitment to producing exceptional soaps and cosmetics.

Our guiding principles are at the core of everything we create:

Handcrafted in Small Batches: Every single one of our products is meticulously handcrafted in small batches, ensuring the utmost quality and attention to detail.

Sustainability Matters: We proudly partner with Palm Done Right, guaranteeing that the palm oil we use is 100% organic, fully traceable, and wildlife-friendly. Sustainability isn't just a buzzword; it's a promise.

Ethical Sourcing: We're dedicated to sourcing our ingredients in the most ethical manner possible. We prioritize partnerships with suppliers who share our values. For instance, our virgin cocoa butter and shea butter are sourced from Baraka, supporting the women and families of northern Ghana by providing them with a fair wage and enabling them to make a positive impact on their community.

Proudly LGBTQ+ Owned: Soap A GoGo is an LGBTQ+ owned small business with a mission to champion LGBTQ+ causes and organizations, including The Trevor Project.

Luxury Without Compromise: Our products offer the epitome of luxury without compromise. They are entirely free of harsh cleansers, containing only the finest plant-based oils and butters.

We invite you to explore our shop, where each item is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, ethics, and passion for what we do. Thank you for joining us on this fragrant journey.

Scott holds advanced Soap and Cosmetic Maker Certifications from the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild.
